Τhe Municipality of Athens gives step to new creations

The Organization of Culture, Sports and Youth and the Hellenic Centre of the International Theatre Institute carry out for the first time, between the 20th of June and 7th of July 2013, the series of events Express Athens, the Municipality of Athens gives step to new creations.
This series of events commences a dialogue about theatre and dance at open locations and at the same time aims at the revitalization of the difficult places of the city, through the highlighting of its cultural centers.

Young creators of theatrical and dance works will present their creations from 20th to 28th of June 2013 in the Theatre of Kolonos (theatre) and from 1st to 7th o July 2013 at the Theatre of Koumoundourou square (dance).

This new action reinforces the already important image of the Municipality of Athens in Greece as well as in Europe. At the same time, the communication of the cultural product to the citizens is reinforced and the dynamic presentation of new creations is displayed to the visitors of Athens.
