Vassilis Kavvathas discusses about Epidaurus in the framework of the exhibition “All about Epidaurus”

On Tuesday 11th of June 2013, the official opening of Vassilis Kavvathas exhibition All about Epidaurus took place at MCF exhibition halls at Piraeus Street 206. The Epidaurian Vassilis Kavvathas and Michael Cacoyannis Foundation presented an exhibition dedicated to the sacred place of the eternal voice of Human.

The following days, Vassilis Kavvathas will resume his retro-existential journey to Epidaurus experience by taking some unique interviews from people that have also experienced the Ancient Drama. After the first encounter and discussion about Medicine at Epidaurus on Friday 14th of June 2013 -with Stefanos Geroulanos, Professor of Surgery at University of Zurich and former Professor of Medical History at University of Ioannina- the forthcoming discussions about Epidaurus are:

  • On Wednesday 19.6, at 20:00: discussion with Kostas Georgousopoulos, Philologist Theatre Critic – Honorary Doctor at the Department of Theatre Studies, University of Athens.
  • On Thursday 27.6, at 20:00: discussion with Plato Mavromoustakos, Theatrologist and Professor of Theatre Studies at University of Athens.
