Second-hand Bazaar: A touching response, a priceless contribution!

Sunday 3rd of February A day dedicated to a good cause, to people who need support from all of us, a day about the district of Tavros, the neighborhood of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, was completed with ultimate success

With the touching response of hundreds of Athenians who visited from early in the morning the foundations cultural centre in order to buy clothes offered by celebrities, friends and partners of MCF, the goal of the Second hand Bazaar was succeeded!

More than 1000 pieces of clothes and shoes, but also accessories, were offered for sale in low prices and got sold in only few hours. The outcome was priceless The total amount that was gathered surpassed any expectation and the contribution by everyone who stood, each on of them by their own way, by the side of the Parish of the Crucified Christ in Tavros gave relief to 85 people who need daily feeding.

We only wish to sincerely thank everybody who supported an initiative that managed to overcome the cold numbers of a cruel reality, but also to bring close to our fellowmen all these warm hearts that genuinely offer strength to carry on
