An artistic encounter of four Cypriot visual artists within the Cypriot Presidency of the European Union
Painting Exhibition “Rencontre” [Kikos Lanitis, Eleni Nikodimou, Stavros Kikas, Lefteris Olympios]
The Painting Exhibition entitled Rencontre is organized within the Cypriot Presidency of the European Union,
from Friday 14 December 2012 to Sunday 20 January 2013, at the Michael
Cacoyannis Foundations Exhibition Area (2nd Floor).
During this exhibition, four artists with
different inclinations and styles are met. During these harsh days of
financial crisis and while art and culture are under attack, the artists
Kikos Lanitis, Eleni Nikodimou, Stavros Kikas and Lefteris Olympios are being met by their pieces of art. They declare that art is alive and it continues to record the socio-political scene of their era.
In the line of the exhibition entitled Rencontre two guided visits for adults will take place free of charge by the curator, Nelli Kyriazi, on Wednesdays 9th & 16th of January 2013, at 19:00
