A tribute to director Michael Cacoyannis will take place on Saturday, November 22, at the Agimi Art Center in Tirana. The event is an initiative of renowned director Enke Fezollari and is being held thanks to the collaboration between the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation and the Embassy of Greece in Tirana, with the support of the Greek Film Archive. Two of Michael Cacoyannis’ iconic films, “The Girl in Black” and “Stella,” will be screened. Between the screenings, there will be a discussion featuring director Enke Fezollari, the artistic director of the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, Alexandra Georgopoulou, and Antonis Georgantas, associate of the MCF Communication Department. Warm thanks are extended to the Karagiannis–Karatzopoulos Film Organization and especially to its Director, Mrs. Katerina Karagiannis, for the kind granting of the screening rights for the films.
