The President of the Hellenic Republic attended the performance Half Jokingly by Giorgos Maniotis at the M. Cacoyannis Foundation
The President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Karolos Papoulias, a fun of theatre, visited unofficially the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in order to attend the performance on the new play by Giorgos Maniotis Half Jokingly.
Exiting Mr. Papoulias stated: We have to stand on our feet and we will do it. The way we did it during other difficult times. The other Greece exists and this play proves it.
The play is characterized as a poignant comedy which, with the sarcastic writing by G. Maniotis refers to Greece of nowadays with the intense problems, and which somewhere between the laughter and the tears, seeks for a light for the day after. Alexandra Paleologou and Giannis Gounas perform directed by the writer himself.
Performances every Monday and Tuesday at 21:00, at the M. Cacoyannis Foundation.
