A “Contemporary Dance Triptych from Israel”, for the first time in Greece

Dance, dance and dance at Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, this time coming from Israel. Three spectacular performances, three prominent artists, three opportunities for all of us to be introduced to various languages of body expression. Enjoy three unique performances during this November, a Contemporary Dance Triptych from Israel that make us face modern problems as well as eternal feelings.

The talented choreographer Arkadi Zaides addresses his speech with a political work, through an extraordinary choreography and he longs for a place of hope, a place for everyone, a Quiet place. While the choreographers Niv Sheinfeld and Oren Laor, reproaching the classic and always modern masterpiece Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? create the performance Post-Martha, a meeting place for the world of contemporary dance and that of theatre. Moreover, Yasmeen Godder could not be absent, a choreographer with an intense individual style, who this time and in her recent work Love Fire, attempts to unveil the identities of men and women. Exploring the limits of their roles in a relationship, glancing to stereotypes, fantasies as well as romantic imaginaries, call us to see things through a point of view, that as always is defined by poetic mood, audacity, talent, romance, sense of humor as well as a fresh choreographic vocabulary.
