From Friday 3rd to Sunday 12th of October 2014, daily from 18:00 – 22:00 at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation

The exhibition “We 4” will be consisted of works of more than 40 Slovak, Czech, Hungarian and Polish graphic and visual artists. The exhibition is organized by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the Embassies of the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Republic of Poland in Athens and is dedicated to mark 23 years of excellent cooperation between the four countries of the Visegrad Group.

The works of art will be presented with the valuable contribution of the Xotaris Art Forum, Honorary Consulate of the Slovak Republic in Piraeus, Synthesis Group and support of the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.

The inauguration of the exhibition was made on Thursday 2nd of October 2014 in Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, where on the occasion of the Presidency of Slovakia in the Visegrad Group (V4), the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Athens organized a concert of Slovak classical music entitled “The Poetry of Slovak Songs”. The compositions of Eugen Suchoň, Dezider Kardoš, Mikuláš Schneider – Trnavský and Alexander Moyzes were performed by the Slovak opera singer Barunka Preisinger (mezzo-soprano), member of the National Opera of Greece, and by Greek concert pianist Dimitris Vezyroglou.

The exhibition will be open to the public from Friday 3 October until Sunday 12 October 2014 between 18:00 and 22:00 hrs. (daily) at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation and the entrance of the public is free during these days.
