Because of the inauguration of the renovated MCF Shop, an Exhibition of Greek artists’ artworks named “Applied Contemporary Art” will have its official opening on Monday 20th of May 2013, at 20:00.

Well-known artists are using contemporary methods for producing artworks and the technical knowledge of apolyto creative spot, in order to exhibit their pieces of art. Artistic installations, artwork object made of glass, metal and paper are the consisting parts of a brand-new and constantly changing scenery in Art.

As Athina Schina notes for the artistic installations:

“The big deal in contemporary artworks is the interactive relation that can appear both in its inner and outer sides. The multiplicities of its aesthetic and utility value can dramatically stimulate the imagination and thought.

The innovative materials and the demanding technology have updated plexiglass, alumin, neon, reboard, paper, color and lighting of artworks and they have given three or more dimensions to them. The management of these possibilities should be supervised by a group of contemporary artistic approaches, such as apolyto.

The group apolyto has a close cooperation with their artists (painters, architects, sculptors, photographers) that use apolyto’s technical knowledge, editing and reproduction. There is also a quality and endurance check of every single artwork to prevent alterations related to the form, structure, aesthetics and style of the original works and preserve the uniqueness and identity of the artist.

At the exhibition, one can find: the relief-artworks by Alexandros Tobazis, the three-dimensional artworks by Michalis Katzourakis, the poetically paradoxical work of Manolis Charos, the archetypical and monumental work of Vassilis Sperantzas, the scenic artworks by Nikos Stefanou, the creepy sensual pieces of art by Pavlos Samios, the surrealistic work of Christos Karas, the colorful and geometrical world of Opy Zouni, the emblematic scriptures by Nikolas Klironomou, the dreamy reflections of Maria Giannakaki, the enigmatic miniatures of Theodoros Pantaleon, the inner transformations by Vangelis Rinas and the depths of seas and unconsciousness by Mary Savaidi-Kabouropoulou“.
