Sounds Echoing, at MCF
A new initiative and, all of a sudden, sounds echoing! The young generation occupies the halls of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in order to be introduced to the audience with short concerts, representing every artistic style of the music range. Students and young musicians find space for expression presenting their work in short music performances, short concerts, at the foyers of the Cultural Centre, welcoming, melodiously, the Foundation’s visitors.
An initiative by Michael Cacoyannis Foundation which has been embraced by acknowledged institutions for music education and training, joining their forces in order to highlight, mutually, the remarkable new generation, in its first steps.
In this framework, Philippos Nakas Conservatory promises for a pleasant surprise devoted to the audience of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation before the screenings of the Short Tribute to Woody Allen in the line of Wednesdays with Cinema at MCF. Short jazz concerts are the best-suited introduction to the world of “classic” movies by Woody Allen.
On Wednesday 14th as well as on Wednesday 21st of December, from 21:00, the foyer of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation will flood in jazz rhythms and melodies.
The students of Philippos Nakas Conservatory participating are: Panayotis Athanatos– guitar, Panayotis Tsigos piano, Antonis Arvanitis contrabass.
