The renowned lyrical artist baritone John Modinos “left” us in January 2011. On Friday May 6th 2011, at 21:00 at Theatre Hall of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation acknowledged lyrical artists, friends, partners, students of his present an Opera Gala, devoted to memorable artist.
Participating in alphabetical order the following artists: Lydia Agelopoulou, V. Amiradaki, Martha Arapi, M. Gournia, El. Davou, Tzeni Drivala, An. Kalogirou, N. Karagiaouris, Maria Kokka, Akis Lalousis, Manos Lorentzos, Maria Marketou, Alexandra Mattheoudaki, Filippos Modinos, Stamatis Mperis, Alexandros Tavaris as well as the chorus “AMPITOUS”.

The event includes arias and duets from opera pieces which John Modinos marked with memorable performances, while parts of his career in the greatest lyrical theatres of the world will be screened as well.
