etsi for the environment

An exhibition which involves holographic projections,
evaluates its environmental equivalent to 1000 trees
and celebrates the uniqueness of each one of us to be and to offer.
Creativity, simplicity, unity.
etsi is a communication platform that conduces to multi-cultural interaction.
It is an open dialogue with substantial participation through our everyday routines and way of living.
etsi celebrates the uniqueness of each one of us to be and to offer.
etsi, because we are all one.

Michael Cacoyannis Foundation has adopted the “etsi by Rodanthi Senduka” and presents a unique exhibition under the title “etsi for the environment” by the visual artist and creator of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games emblem Rodanthi Senduka and the participation of the viual artist Harry Lambert, the designer Vasilia and the ceramicist Christina Morali. The Holographic projections made Kay & Gee.

The exhibition includes painting works, sketches and useful handmade objects made of recycled or environmental friendly materials. Apart from their natural exhibition, their swinging holograms will be projected on screens.

The exhibition aims to promote a new way of thinking, as well as a new way of acting for the preservation of the environment. In this way, it employs new technologies as an environmental friendly medium for creating and presenting art works, while the evaluation and refund of the environmental equivalent are now applied to art works and its’ exhibitions.

So the exhibition “etsi for the environment” aspires to contribute to the awakening of all of us for the preservation of the environment and at the same time it formulates a different proposal – action: It evaluates every piece of art in trees to be grown, thus defining its environmental equivalent.
