Call for Submissions from Gallery Art. Number 23
Gallery Art. Number 23 is issuing an open call to visual artists working in painting, sculpture, photography, or video to participate in an exhibition with an open theme, which will take place at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation from 31/1/2026 to 15/2/2026.
Participating artists may submit one or two works of their choice, regardless of theme or art category. After the conclusion of the physical exhibition, the works will also be presented in a 3D digital gallery on the Foundation’s website.
As a well-established and widely recognized cultural institution, the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation remains committed to its vision of artistic excellence, attracting younger audiences, promoting contemporary art forms, supporting emerging creators, and raising awareness around current social and cultural issues.
The Foundation has succeeded in becoming a modern and welcoming hub for the cultivation and promotion of the arts, while its reputation and credibility significantly strengthen every project hosted within its premises. Above all, the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation remains open and welcoming to every emerging creator, offering them the opportunity to present their work in an art and culture venue of recognized prestige and rich artistic history.
Art Number 23 was born from the essential need many emerging artists share: to find a platform to showcase their work. Founded in London in 2015 by curator and visual artist Konstantinos Antzoulatos, it is a collective endeavor created and run by artists and creators from around the world. The gallery has curated a large number of exhibitions, and its projects have featured works by thousands of artists. Emerging creators, art students, and self-taught artists are always welcome to participate and present their work, as are academically trained and professionally established artists.
Previous projects by Art Number 23 have been presented in major cities worldwide, including New York and Philadelphia, Moscow, Berlin, Barcelona, Vienna and Salzburg, Amsterdam, Rome, Istanbul, and Tokyo.
