Michael Cacoyannis Foundation accommodates with joy and honor the presentation of Giorgos Maniotis’ book “OH IF ONLY I KNEW LETTERS”, on Wednesday the 16th of October 2013 at 20:30. The hall where the event is going to held is MCF’s Cinema.
The book is set in contemporary Greece and narrates the story of a woman that struggles with wild creatures to survive. Her illiteracy is the source of her woes. What she does, have, however, is the necessary fiber and strength to be able to denounce the Neohellenes’ materialism, and unlimited love in order to be able to stand, like an armed guard, beside her husband and her son and to remind them that they have the right and the obligation to demand their share of life.
