Django, along with a gang of Mexican and American outlaws, steal a great quantity of gold from a stagecoach. When the Americans of the gang betray the rest, they shoot and bury Django believing he’s dead. Django though crawls out of his grave and hunts down his ex partners looking not only for revenge but for the gold as well. Giulio Questi’s film is a surrealistic horror western, that stands out among most of the films in the genre.
