The beginning of a great, and intensely creative life.

Michael Cacoyannis always wanted to celebrate beginnings!  He never focused on endings or goodbyes. Through his art and the legacy he left behind, he created an ongoing artistic and cultural flow of energy stemming either directly from his oeuvre, or in the form of inspiration, or via the creation of a framework for new ideas and proposals.

This is a difficult year for us all, controversial and shocking at times.  When we shut down the theatre lights, we returned to a retrospection of our Founder’s values and guidance.  We never shut down…all the lights.  We continued to create from within a new reality, we made plans and we moved forward.  In that way, we forged a new beginning.

Michael Cacoyannis lives on, directing a new beginning…
